Overview

An Intriguing Voyage through Rajasthan's Desert Cities

Want to taste the soul-enriching culture of Rajasthan? Book a Rajasthan tour package 8 nights 9 days covering Jaipur, Udaipur, Mount Abu, Jodhpur, and Jaisalmer. Discovering these five cities lets you experience what Rajasthan’s centuries of survival and pride look like.

These are the must-visit places to include on your 8 nights 9 days Rajasthan trip-

Jaipur – Main Highlights

The best Rajasthan itinerary for 9 days includes Jaipur as the prime location. Jaipur greets you with wide roads and pink walls that follow a plan laid centuries ago.

Walk through markets to buy souvenirs for your close ones. Try out local dishes like dal baati churma & pyaaz kachori, which are must-tries.

Planning Your Visit to Udaipur

A Rajasthan heritage and desert tour itinerary includes Udaipur. Lake Pichola is a historic lake here. Wander through lanes where old havelis lean close and artisans work on miniature paintings.

Aarti at Gangaur Ghat during evenings draws locals & visitors alike. Celebrate the religious cultures as prayers echo across the water. Buy souvenirs like silver jewellery & pottery for your loved ones. Pamper your taste buds with delicious Rajasthani thalis.

A Visit to Mount Abu

Mount Abu is Rajasthan's only hill station that feels like a perfect escape from the hustle-bustle of cities. Dilwara Temples are a group of Jain temples that feature Maru-Gurjara architecture built from 11th to 16th centuries.

Nakki Lake is the first man-made lake in the Aravalli hills surrounding rock formations. Walk around it, past food stalls and quiet trails to explore the beauty. Mount Abu offers relief from the bustling city life.

A Pause at Jodhpur

Jodhpur’s main attraction is the Mehrangarh Fort. The walls bear centuries of battles as well as survival. Climb to the top and see how beautiful the old town spreads below in shades of blue.

Roam around the spice markets, textile shops, and sweet stalls. Try out mirchi vada & mawa kachori in Jodhpur.

Visiting Jaisalmer

Dubbed ‘Golden City’, Jaisalmer is made of yellow sandstones. The fort rises from honey-coloured stone and people still live inside its walls.

Havelis display carvings that catch light at different hours. Hear local tales passed down through generations. Step into courtyards where time moves differently. The village-like feel draws most tourists to Jaisalmer.

Best Time to Visit

October to March works best. Jaipur and Jodhpur stay pleasant. Mount Abu offers a soothing temperature year-round, but winter is the best time to visit. Avoid summer unless you're prepared for intense heat.
